Joe's Bar and Bistro is a real change of pace for visitors to the South Burnett's Barambah Valley wine region. Our regular patrons travel from all around the Cooloola Shire and South Burnett, including the nearby towns of Murgon, Wondai, Kilkivan and Kingaroy, with weekend travelers from the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane.
Like all traditional Queensland Pubs, the central focus was always on a huge bar area for local South Burnett workers, farmers and drinkers, supported with a basic nook for meals. At Joe's Grand Hotel we have completely revamped this concept, still retaining the large bar area, but linking it to a large open plan bistro lounge and outdoor dining deck. Our bistro and seated area can comfortably seat 70 diners.

Our bar and bistro menu is a departure from traditional pub food. Our innovative menu can provide for the hungriest of appetites, yet our ingredients are first class.
Our selection of Premium Beef is sourced from our region's finest graziers and ranges from the classic 300g Rump Steak to a mouth-watering 350g Rib Fillet. First-timers will be tempted by our amazing Double Waygu Beef Burger, a pub triumph, loaded with double the ground Waygu beef, bacon, cheese, salad and sweet BBQ onion jam on a Goomeri Bakery Turkish bread roll complete with fat chips.
We also offer a range of great daily $14.90 lunch specials!
