HOTEL ACCOMMODATION

 

In keeping with the tradition of all good Queensland Pubs our accommodation is upstairs, accessed via the bistro lounge area. Alternate access is from our private off-street car park via staircases. Our regular guests travel from all around the South Burnett, including the nearby towns of Gympie and Kingaroy, with weekend guests from the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane.

Our hotel accommodation, is fully renovated and rebuilt, and harks back to the charm of a bygone era. We can accommodate up to 40 people in a combination of doubles and twin singles. Like all Australian pubs of yesteryear we have opted for external shared bathrooms and toilets, just a few steps from your bedroom door.

We have a spacious private guest lounge with television and adjoining kitchenette and breakfast bar area, complete with complimentary tea and coffee facilities.

This traditional approach has many benefits including highly competitive room rates that are below all local motel room tariffs and not much above onsite caravan park overnight rates.

We cater for tourists, travelling workers, construction workers, backpackers and visitors to the wineries, in particular, guests who attend functions and events at Dusty Hill Vineyard.

Many patrons travel in from outlying areas for live music performances and stay the night, to cap off a great weekend in Goomeri. During the Goomeri Pumpkin Festival we are always fully booked so be sure to get in early.

Please note that Joe's Grand Hotel closes at 5pm on Sundays. If late check in is required you must notify staff upon booking.

Accommodation Terms and Conditions

  • The reservation is confirmed upon payment of the accommodation 

  • By providing valid credit card details, you warrant that you have the authority to use the credit card and you authorise Joe’s Grand Hotel to charge the cost of your booking to the credit card upon reservation.

  • Payment in full at time of booking.

  • All reservations are confirmed upon payment.

REFUNDS
  • Peak Period or Festival Period Bookings - No refunds are given on bookings cancelled within 14 days of arrival.

  • Cancellations made prior to 48 hours of booking will be refunded the full amount less a $25 administration fee.

  • Cancellation made within 48 hours will be charged the full standard room fees for the night/s booked.

CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT​
  • Standard check- in time is 2.00pm. The name of the booking (or nominee) must be the person checking in.

  • Standard check- out time by 10.00am.

  • For guaranteed arrival prior to 2pm, a room must be reserved from the previous night and therefore includes an additional nightly charge.

  • Late check-out up to 11.00 am is at the discretion of the Hotel manager and must be requested the night before checking out.

  • Late check out after 11.00am will incur the full rate of one (1) nights’ accommodation.

  • Joe's Grand Hotel is not open on Sunday nights. Any check-ins after 5pm must be prior arranged.

  • Please notify in the event of late arrival. Late arrivals need to be pre organised with accommodation management.

GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS
  • Any Incidentals will be charged to the card used to pay the booking.

  • Damage, breakages, theft, and losses are the tenants’ responsibility during their stay

  • Additional cleaning fees may apply as required

  • The consumption of any illegal substance in accommodation is strictly prohibited and may result in termination of booking, dismissal of guest without a refund and legal prosecution.

  • Smoking is not permitted at any time in any inside accommodation. An additional $200 cleaning fee will be charged.

  • Pets are not allowed in the accommodation.

  • For the enjoyment of all guests, noise restrictions apply after 9pm. Excessive noise is not tolerated

  • In the interest of quiet enjoyment and respect for all guests at Joe’s Grand Hotel, a no party policy applies to all guests staying at the Hotel.

  • The number of guests must not exceed the number stated on the booking confirmation notice or subsequently agreed in writing or email.

  • Due to Fire regulations, Management must be aware of number of guests in rooms.

  • Lost or stolen keys will incur a $40 fee. Attempts will be made to contact the guest who will be given the opportunity to return keys taken. Failure to do so will result in the fee being charged to their credit card.

  • Room degradation (such as vomit, bodily wastes) a $200 cleaning fee will be charged, plus any professional floor cleaning charges at cost, plus a daily room tariff equal to the daily tariff that we would charge if the room was available to be let or any other rate that may be agreed to by the management, in accordance with business demand on the day, until the said room has been returned to its saleable condition.

  • The breach of any of the above conditions may result in immediate termination of rental and charges.
